The bachelor's thesis first deals with brief information about the main stages of the progress of secondary education in Strakonice, the main part of the thesis is focused on the history of the Vyšší odborná škola, Střední průmyslová škola a Střední odborná škola řemesel a služeb Strakonice. A detailed description of these stages in addition to the presentation of previously unpublished information are the main objectives of this bachelor thesis. In order to fulfil the objectives, historical and heuristic methods were used, including comparative analysis as well as guided interviews with memorials and the current management of the school.

Commuting and Its Impact on the Transportation Demand

The bachelor thesis is focused on commuting in Strakonice. The aim is to evaluate the impact of commuting on the transportation demand based on the economic activity, the time spent travelling to work and the mean of transport e. g. cars, bikes, public transport. The thesis is focused on analyzing a data from the database software called Bisnode Albertina, also a data from the Road and Motorway Directorate of the Czech Republic concerning the traffic intensity on the access roads to Strakonice and a data collected from companies which participated in the 2019 survey. Parking possibilities in the town are discussed and at the end a short proposition to improve current situation related to traffic is given.

Volby do obecního zastupitelstva ve Strakonicích v letech 2018 a 2019

The thesis deals with municipal policy in Strakonice. The main goal is to compare the results of elections at years 2018 and 2019. In the theoretical part, there will be defined terms as public administration, municipal elections, political marketing and political market. After that, in the practical part, an analysis and comparison of election campaigns of candidate political entities will be performed, because due to the restriction of equal conditions of political competition, the 2018 elections were canceled by a court decision. For this reason, the basis of the work is an analysis of the means of promotion used by all candidate parties. Since the results of the municipal elections most influence the everyday life of citizenship, the conclusion of the diploma thesis is a questionnaire survey, which forms an idea of the relationship of the electorate. At the end of the work, these data will be analyzed and research questions will also be answered.

Judiciary, Advocacy and Notary in Strakonice 1850-1938

Supposed work on the theme Judicary, Advocacy and Notary in Strakonice 1850-1938 deal with development of legal rules and state administration since the days of birth of district courts` system until period of end of the first republic. Forementioned time period was selected intentionally on the basis of extant archive materials, which were necessary for elaboration of the subject. Concretely the work applies itself to description of workload of juridical profession, personal life of their representatives operating in Strakonice and eventually to their function in community. Law and order deputies played a important role not only in political but also in cultural and public life. Very often they acted in municipal government, in some cultural club and of course they performed their professions at the same time. So called provincial practice run at small town did not offer big or revolutionary cases, still it was interesting. Spectrum of adjudications and legal and notarial agenda provide insight to people{\crq}s manners and behaviour in a given period. Purpose of the work is to bring closer juridical history of the region I come from.

This thesis focuses primarily on the description of the political conditions in the area of the former political district of Strakonice between May 1946 and February 1948. Hence, the main focus lies on the topics such as the activity and agenda of ONV Strakonice and MNV Strakonice with regard to the personal and political structure of these authorities following the parliamentary elections in the spring of 1946 and the radical changes after the political coup on February 25th 1948. In this respect the thesis tracks the alterations in the distribution of political power in the region and offers a clear view of the transition from the unstable post- war democracy to the communistic dictatorship. This diploma thesis maps the history of Basketball Club of Strakonice. It describes it's origin and further formation. In the introduction I have set the development of basketball in a global and also national context. In the second part I described basketball within it's regional form. The history is chronologically divided into consecutive periods. This work also contains rosters of player and trainers. I have also added specific archival data to support successes and failures of the team.

Collectivization of Agriculture in the Trebohostice Region: Changes in the Region and the Society in the Course of Rural Collectivization

(in English): This bachelor's thesis is concerned with the story of a small village in the southern part of the Czech Republic, and adjacent areas, during the process of collectivization. It is a micro- historical study based in part on sources available in the Strakonice district archive and in the private archive of the ZD Trebohostice farmers' cooperative, as well as an oral history project based on interviews with contemporaries. Using the examples of several nearby socialist cooperative farms, the study records and analyzes changes in management. However, it is also concerned with the stances that the local residents assumed to the changes brought about by collectivization, as well as with the changes in their perceptions over time. While the study includes the period just before collectivization, its main focus is on the post-collectivization period and on the repercussions of collectivization. The study also considers economy, its form and the changes it underwent over the years.

The bachelor thesis deals with the development of motoric skills of floorball players. The aim of this thesis is the processing of summer training for players in category men and older juniors. This plan is performed in the framework of annual training program of team FbC Strakonice. The realisation of summer training allows the comparison of players' performance before and after training. Possibilities of sports activities of younger schoolchildren in Strakonice

The diploma thesis deals with opportunities of sport activities which primary school children have in the city Strakonice on primary schools, in Youth centre and out of these institutions. The theoretic part of the work shows us the knowledge which is related to the children in primary schools and theirs development and sport. The purpose is to establish the current offer of the sport activities and the offer in the process of ten years. The evaluation is performed on the basis of study of school educational programs, annual reports of schools and collected data are supplemented in the form of an interview with the school management. The tool for evaluating the results are graphs and the results show us how the offer has changed over the years and what sport activities are offered to the primary school children the most.
